Where funds are concerned, active administration refers to the constant reallocation of individual investments in the asset pool (in contrast to the fixed trust principle). This relates to active, passive and index funds alike.

Verwaltet heisst bei Fonds, dass innerhalb des Fondsvermögens in Bezug auf die einzelnen Anlagen laufend Umschichtungen stattfinden (im Gegensatz zum Fixed-Trust-Prinzip). Dies trifft sowohl auf die aktiven als auch auf die passiven und indexierten Fonds zu.
