Für jeden Kapitalanlagefonds muss die Kapitalanlagegesellschaft ein KID mit den wesentlichen Anlegerinformationen zur Verfügung stellen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein unionsweit standardisiertes und harmonisiertes Dokument, das dem Anleger vor seiner Investition eine entsprechende Entscheidungsgrundlage bietet. Durch das KID ist auch eine bessere Vergleichbarkeit der Kapitalanlagefonds ermöglicht.

For every capital investment fund the investment fund management company is required to make a customer information document (KID) available which contains the most significant information for investors. This is a document that has been standardised and harmonised throughout the European Union, which is provided prior to investment and which provides the investor with a suitable basis for making a decision.
