Action for reduction

The action for reduction is the action by which the heir entitled to the compulsory portion can demand the reduction of the testator's dispositions of property rights (due to death or among the living), insofar as these dispositions violate his compulsory portion.

Die Herabsetzungsklage ist die Klage, durch welche der pflichtteilsberechtigte Erbe die Herabsetzung vermögensrechtlicher Verfügungen (von Todes wegen oder unter Lebenden) des Erblassers, soweit durch diese sein Pflichtteil verletzt wird, verlangen kann.
