Custodian bank (UCITS and AIF)

A custodian bank must be appointed for the custody of securities belonging to a UCITS or an AIF as well as for managing accounts belonging to the UCITS or AIF. A custodian bank is a credit institution that is licenced to conduct custody business.

Mit der Verwahrung der zu einem OGAW oder AIF gehörigen Wertpapiere und mit der Führung der zum OGAW oder AIF gehörigen Konten ist eine Depotbank zu bestellen. Bei der Depotbank handelt es sich um ein Kreditinstitut, welches für das Depotgeschäft konzessioniert ist.
