European Venture Capital Fund (EuVECA)

The European venture capital fund (EuVECA) is the EU fund label for promoting the growth and innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises (qualifying portfolio undertakings); its legal basis is Regulation (EU) No 345/2013. EuVECA managers are registered with the competent national supervisory authority and must invest at least 70 per cent of the fund's capital in qualifying investments; the label permits Europe-wide distribution to professional and certain wealthy investors.

Der Europäische Risikokapitalfonds (EuVECA) ist das EU-Fondslabel zur Förderung von Wachstum und Innovation kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen (qualifizierte Portfoliounternehmen); Grundlage ist die Verordnung (EU) Nr. 345/2013. EuVECA-Verwalter werden bei der zuständigen nationalen Aufsichtsbehörde registriert und müssen mindestens 70 Prozent des Fondskapitals in qualifizierte Anlagen investieren; das Label erlaubt den europaweiten Vertrieb an professionelle und bestimmte vermögende Anleger.
