Index funds

Index funds usually contain the same titles at the same weighting as a certain representative stock market index. They are therefore also described as passive investments. Titles are not selected on the basis of return forecasts; only a share index is depicted. For this reason, the fees associated with index funds are much lower than those associated with actively managed funds.

Indexfonds enthalten in der Regel die gleichen Titel in derselben Gewichtung wie ein bestimmter repräsentativer Börsenindex. Sie werden deshalb auch als passives Investment bezeichnet. Es werden keine Titel aufgrund von Renditeprognosen ausgewählt, sondern es wird einzig ein Aktienindex abgebildet. Aus diesem Grund sind bei Indexfonds die Gebühren deutlich tiefer als bei aktiv verwalteten Fonds.
