Jumble contract

The jumble contract is a sui generis contract by which one party (the jumble dealer) undertakes to transfer to the other a commodity for sale in his own name and for his own account, with an estimate of its price, and the other party (the jumble dealer) undertakes to pay the agreed price or to return the commodity.

Der Trödelvertrag ist Vertrag sui generis, durch den die eine Partei (der Vertrödler) sich verpflichtet, der andern eine Ware unter Schätzung ihres Preises zum Verkauf in eigenem Namen und auf eigene Rechnung zu übertragen, und die andere Partei (der Trödler) es übernimmt, den vereinbarten Preis zu zahlen oder die Sache zurückzugeben.
