The liquidator is a shareholder or appointed third party, who is appointed by agreement among the shareholders, by law or by the judge to act as the responsible representative of the company for the realisation of the liquidation purpose and who is to be entered as such in the Commercial Register.

Der Liquidator ist ein Gesellschafter oder eingesetzte Dritter, der durch Abrede unter den Gesellschaftern, durch Gesetz oder durch den Richter bestimmt wird, für die Verwirklichung des Liquidationszweckes als verantwortlicher Vertreter der Gesellschaft zu fungieren und als solcher in das Handelsregister einzutragen ist.
