Management fee

The management fee covers the costs of producing and distributing the fund (management, asset management, distribution compensation); it is also meant to yield the fund management company an adequate profit. The fees must be disclosed in the fund contract, and their effective level appears in the total expense ratio. For investments in target funds linked to the fund management company, no issue premiums or redemption commissions may be charged to the fund, and any duplication of management fees must be disclosed (Art. 73a CISO).

Die Management Fee deckt die mit Produktion und Vertrieb des Fonds anfallenden Kosten (Leitung, Asset Management, Vertriebsentschädigungen); die Fondsleitung soll damit einen angemessenen Gewinn erzielen. Die Gebühren sind im Fondsvertrag offenzulegen; ihre effektive Höhe erscheint in der Total Expense Ratio. Bei Anlagen in Zielfonds, die mit der Fondsleitung verbunden sind, dürfen dem Anlagefonds keine Ausgabeaufschläge oder Rücknahmekommissionen belastet werden, und allfällige doppelte Verwaltungskommissionen sind offenzulegen (Art. 73a KKV).
