Money market funds are investment funds which invest their available capital in money market instruments and fixed-income instruments with a short residual term (max. 12 months). The advantages of money market funds are the fast availability of the capital invested and the low price risk.

Geldmarktfonds sind Investmentfonds, die das ihnen zur Verfügung gestellte Kapital in Geldmarktpapieren und festverzinslichen Papieren mit kurzer Restlaufzeit (maximal zwölf Monate) anlegen. Vorteile von Geldmarktfonds sind die schnelle Verfügbarkeit der eingesetzten Mittel und das geringe Kursrisiko.
