Portfolio Turnover Rate (PTR)

The PTR provides information about the income from the fund portfolio and consequently about the current transaction costs encumbering the funds. Helps with analysing the TER, as this does not take the fund’s internal and external transactions costs into account during calculation. The PTR also indicates the relevance of ancillary costs incurred by the fund when buying and selling assets.

Der PTR gibt Aufschluss über den Portfolioumsatz des Fonds und damit das Ausmass der Kostenbelastung des Fondsvermögens mit laufenden Transaktionen. Hilft zur Betrachtung des TER, da dieser die eigenen und fremden Transaktionskosten innerhalb des Fonds in der Berechnung nicht berücksichtigt. Die Kennziffer PTR dient als Indikator für die Relevanz der Nebenkosten, die dem Fonds beim Kauf und Verkauf von Anlagen erwachsen.
