The trust is a contractual relationship between the trustee and the settlor. The assets are the trust property, which the trustee administers in his own name for the settlor. The trustee is obliged to manage or use the trust property in the settlor's interest.

Treuhänderschaft 0797-de
Die Treuhänderschaft (Trust) ist ein Vertragsverhältnis zwischen dem Treuhänder oder Treunehmer (dem Trustee) und dem Treugeber (Settlor). Die Vermögenswerte sind dabei das Treugut, das der Trustee im eigenen Namen für den Settlor verwaltet. Der Trustee ist verpflichtet, das Treugut im Sinn des Settlors zu verwalten beziehungsweise zu verwenden.
