Antichresis

The term antichresis is understood to mean the contract by which the creditor, in order to secure his claim, acquires the right to draw the fruits of the property given to him, but must set them off against the interest or debt owed.

Unter dem Begriff der Antichresis versteht man den Vertrag, durch den der Gläubiger zur Sicherung seiner Forderung das Recht erlangt, die Früchte des ihm übergebenen Grundstückes zu ziehen, sie aber auf den geschuldeten Zins resp. die Schuld anrechnen muss.
