Compensatio compensationis is the plaintiff's objection to the defendant's plea of set-off that he set off that counterclaim against another claim to which he is entitled but which has not been enforced. This would contradict the nature of the offsetting.

Compensatio compensationis ist die Einwendung des Klägers gegenüber der Verrechnungseinrede des Beklagten, er verrechne jene Gegenforderung mit einer andern ihm zustehenden, jedoch nicht eingeklagten Forderung. Dies würde der Natur der Verrechnung widersprechen.
