Salaried employees are those persons whose work requires scientific, artistic or commercial training, as well as those whose work requires a special relationship of trust with the employer, whereby it is not a question of describing their position but rather of the degree of independence and competence.

Angestellte sind Dienstpflichtige, für deren Tätigkeit eine wissenschaftliche, künstlerische oder kaufmännische Ausbildung erforderlich ist, ferner jene, deren Tätigkeit ein besonderes Vertrauensverhältnis zum Dienstherrn voraussetzt, wobei es nicht auf die Bezeichnung ihrer Stellung sondern auf das Mass der Selbstständigkeit und der Kompetenzen ankommt.
