The purpose of the legal system is to provide and to graduate the possibility of satisfying people's primary needs according to an ethical standard by regulating the relations of people among themselves and by the same duties authoritatively imposed by the State.

Zweck der Rechtsordnung ist, den Menschen die Möglichkeit der Befriedigung ihrer primären Bedürfnisse nach einem ethischen Massstabe zu verschaffen und abzustufen durch Regelung der Beziehungen der Menschen unter sich und durch denselben seitens des Staates autoritativ auferlegten Pflichten.
