The most-favoured nation clause is a clause which stipulates that the legal system or legal standards which are more advantageous for the person concerned should be applied. Most-favoured nation clauses are mainly used in intertemporal law and in international situations.

Unter der Meistbegünstigungsklausel versteht man eine Klausel welche festhält, dass jene Rechtsordnung respektive jene Rechtsnormen zur Anwendung gelangen sollen, die für den Betroffenen vorteilhafter sind. Meistbegünstigungsklauseln kennt man vor allem im intertemporalen Recht und bei internationalen Sachverhalten.
