An attempt is made when the perpetrator is subjectively determined to carry out the entire offence and objectively commits an act that is subject to the offence, but which does not bring about a change in the outside world, i.e. lacks the objective final element necessary for the completion of the crime.

Ein Versuch liegt dann vor, wenn der Täter subjektiv den gesamten Tatbestand zu verwirklichen entschlossen ist und objektiv eine dem Tatbestande unterfallende Handlung setzt, die jedoch die tatbestandsmässige Veränderung in der Aussenwelt nicht herbeiführt, mithin des für die Vollendung des Verbrechens erforderlichen objektiven Schlussstückes entbehrt.
