Urgency clause

The urgency clause is the decision, at the discretion of the Federal Assembly, that a generally binding federal decree should be declared urgent and thus withdrawn from the optional referendum.

Die Dringlichkeitsklausel ist die im Ermessen der Bundesversammlung stehende Entscheidung, dass ein allgemein verbindlicher Bundesbeschluss als dringlich zu erklären und damit dem fakultativen Referendum zu entziehen sei.
