The will is the spiritual aspiration of personal beings, through which values are sought and possessed in the service of one's own development and perfection, such as the community, values are sought and possessed, values that are not worthy. Will is that by which man as a person freely places himself in the recognized order of being and values or rebels against it; therefore he is morally responsible and the act of will is attributed to the I.

Der Wille ist das geistige Strebevermögen persönlicher Wesen, durch das im Dienste der eigenen Entwicklung und Vervollkommnung, wie der Gemeinschaft, Werte erstrebt und besessen, Unwerte abgewehrt werden. Willensentschluss ist das, wodurch der Mensch als Person sich frei der erkannten Seins- und Wertordnung einordnet oder gegen sie auflehnt; darum ist er sittlich zu verantworten und wird die Willenshandlung dem Ich zugerechnet.
