Absinth ist jeder Branntwein, der aromatische Bestandteile des Wermutkrautes in Verbindung mit anderen aromatischen Stoffen, wie sie in Anis, Fenchel und dergleichen enthalten sind, aufweist. In der Schweiz sind seit 2005 die Herstellung und der Verkauf von Absinth wieder erlaubt.

Absinthe 0010-en
Absinthe is any spirit that contains aromatic components of wormwood in combination with other aromatic substances such as those contained in anise, fennel and the like. In Switzerland the production and sale of Absinthe has been permitted again since 2005.
