The interruption of the causal connection means that the development of an event to a certain success, which, if it had occurred, would then be causally connected with it, is inhibited so that the development does not come to a conclusion.

Die Unterbrechung des Kausalzusammenhanges besagt, dass die Entwicklung eines Geschehens zu einem bestimmten Erfolg, der, wenn er eingetreten wäre, dann mit diesem in Kausalzusammenhang stände, gehemmt wird, so dass es zum Abschluss der Entwicklung nicht kommt.
