Climate reporting

Climate reporting has been given binding shape for large Swiss companies since 2024: the Ordinance on Climate Disclosures obliges companies subject to reporting under Art. 964a CO to implement the TCFD recommendations (governance, strategy, risk management, metrics and targets), including a transition plan comparable with Switzerland's climate goals. The report must be published in an electronic, machine-readable format.

Klimaberichterstattung 1119-de
Die Klimaberichterstattung ist seit 2024 für grosse Schweizer Unternehmen verbindlich konkretisiert: Die Verordnung über die Berichterstattung über Klimabelange verpflichtet die nach Art. 964a OR berichtspflichtigen Gesellschaften zur Umsetzung der TCFD-Empfehlungen (Governance, Strategie, Risikomanagement, Kennzahlen und Ziele), einschliesslich eines Transitionsplans, der mit den Schweizer Klimazielen vergleichbar ist. Bericht in elektronischem, maschinenlesbarem Format wird verlangt.
