The duty to publish as the duty to present documents by persons other than the person furnishing evidence exists in principle to the detriment of all persons and companies subject to the obligation to register and thus to keep records with regard to the business books and business correspondence.

Die Editionspflicht als die Pflicht zur Vorlegung von Urkunden durch andere Personen als den Beweisführer besteht grundsätzlich zu Lasten aller der Registereintragspflicht und damit der Buchführungspflicht unterliegenden Personen und Firmen hinsichtlich der Geschäftsbücher und Geschäftskorrespondenz.
