It draws on the distributed knowledge of the group, increases acceptance of decisions and develops those involved. Its price is longer decision paths and the risk of dilution. It works where employees are professionally competent and the task does not demand an immediate decision.

Er nutzt das verteilte Wissen der Gruppe, erhöht die Akzeptanz von Entscheiden und fördert die Entwicklung der Beteiligten. Der Preis sind längere Entscheidwege und die Gefahr der Verwässerung. Wirksam ist er, wenn die Mitarbeitenden fachlich kompetent sind und die Aufgabe keine sofortige Entscheidung verlangt.
