QR-bill

Since 2020 the QR-bill has replaced the red and orange payment slips, whose use has not been permitted since 1 October 2022. The Swiss QR Code carries all payment-relevant data in machine-readable form, including the IBAN, the amount and the reference. It links the paper document with electronic processing, reduces input errors and allows incoming payments to be posted automatically. The changeover was the largest intervention in Swiss payment traffic for decades.

Die QR-Rechnung ersetzt seit 2020 die roten und orangen Einzahlungsscheine; deren Verwendung ist seit dem 1. Oktober 2022 nicht mehr zulässig. Der Swiss QR Code enthält alle zahlungsrelevanten Angaben maschinenlesbar, einschliesslich IBAN, Betrag und Referenz. Er verbindet den Beleg mit der elektronischen Verarbeitung, senkt Erfassungsfehler und ermöglicht die automatische Verbuchung des Zahlungseingangs. Die Umstellung war der grösste Eingriff in den schweizerischen Zahlungsverkehr seit Jahrzehnten.
