Sustainability preferences

Sustainability preferences are a client's wishes as to the extent to which sustainability aspects should be taken into account in investment advice and portfolio management. Under the self-regulation of the Swiss Bankers Association they must be ascertained as part of the suitability assessment and matched against the recommended products; in the EU this is required by the MiFID II Delegated Regulation. Products may be recommended as meeting sustainability preferences only if they actually correspond to the preferences ascertained.

Nachhaltigkeitspräferenzen 1133-de
Nachhaltigkeitspräferenzen sind die Wünsche eines Kunden, inwieweit Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte in Anlageberatung und Vermögensverwaltung berücksichtigt werden sollen. Nach der Selbstregulierung der Schweizerischen Bankiervereinigung sind sie bei der Eignungsprüfung zu erheben und mit den empfohlenen Produkten abzugleichen; in der EU verlangt dies die MiFID-II-Delegiertenverordnung. Produkte dürfen nur als nachhaltigkeitskonform empfohlen werden, wenn sie den erhobenen Präferenzen tatsächlich entsprechen.
