Swiss Climate Scores

The Swiss Climate Scores are voluntary indicators for the climate transparency of financial investments, launched by the Federal Council in 2022 and refined in 2023. They show the current state (greenhouse gas emissions, exposure to fossil fuels) and the transition (verified net-zero commitments, management towards net zero, credible climate stewardship, implied temperature rise). Their aim is comparable, science-based investor information on the climate alignment of portfolios.

Die Swiss Climate Scores sind vom Bundesrat 2022 lancierte und 2023 verfeinerte freiwillige Kennzahlen zur Klimatransparenz von Finanzanlagen. Sie zeigen den Ist-Zustand (Treibhausgasemissionen, Exposition gegenüber fossilen Brennstoffen) und die Transition (verifizierte Netto-Null-Verpflichtungen, Management auf Netto-Null, glaubwürdiger Klimadialog, globales Erwärmungspotenzial). Ziel ist eine vergleichbare, wissenschaftsbasierte Information der Anleger über die Klimaverträglichkeit ihrer Portfolios.
