SIX Digital Exchange

The SIX Digital Exchange, operational since 2021, is SIX's regulated infrastructure for the issue, trading and custody of tokenised securities. It holds licences as an exchange and as a central securities depository and is thus the first fully regulated trading venue of its kind worldwide. Digital bonds issued on it include those of the Confederation, the City of Lugano and several cantonal banks. Settlement takes place in tokenised central bank money under Project Helvetia.

Die SIX Digital Exchange ist die 2021 in Betrieb genommene, regulierte Infrastruktur der SIX für Ausgabe, Handel und Verwahrung tokenisierter Effekten. Sie verfügt über Bewilligungen als Börse und als Zentralverwahrer und ist damit die erste vollregulierte Handelsplattform dieser Art weltweit. Emittiert wurden unter anderem digitale Anleihen des Bundes, der Stadt Lugano und mehrerer Kantonalbanken. Die Abwicklung erfolgt im Rahmen des Projekts Helvetia in tokenisiertem Zentralbankgeld.
